Vidya Balan as Silk Smitha

We all knew that top Bollywood producer Ekta Kapoor has started a biopic on one of India's biggest sex symbols Silk Smitha titled ‘The Dirty Picture’. The turbulent life of Silk Smitha will be portrayed on the big screen by Vidya Balan.

Everyone was wondering Vidya, who has carved a name for soft, sensitive and straight-thinking heroine oriented roles would fit in the new glamorous avatar. Here is the first look of Vidya Balan as Silk Smitha.


'The Dirty Picture' is directed by Milan Luthria who believes t is a casting coup of sorts. Ajay Devgan plays the man who enters the life of Vidya, popularly referred as ‘thaadikarar’ in real life.
