'Sandakozhi 2' to go on floors this May

'Sandakozhi' that released more than six years back was a blockbuster hit and was helmed by commercial film specialist, Lingusamy with Vishal and Meera Jasmine on board. It's been said for quite sometime now that Lingu and Vishal will be joining hands again for its sequel.

"Vishal and director Lingusamy are joining hands for a venture come May 2012, however it's only likely that the film will be Sandakozhi 2, its not confirmed as of now. The film is expected to go on floors this May. Music is touted to be composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja", says sources in the know.














All this was earlier rubbished as rumours by those concerned, however, it is now said that S Ramakrishnan, who penned the dialogues for the film is joining hands with Lingu again and the duo are busy with pre-production work on the sequel.

Currently Vishal has 'Samaran' and a film with director Sundar C where he will be seen in triple roles. It may be mentioned, 'Sandakozhi', Vishal's second film in Tamil fetched him many fans especially among the young and the sequel is already eagerly awaited.
