'Thaandavam', one of the biggest films of 2012 by UTV Motion Pictures has gone on floors in New Delhi. The shoot will take place continuously for twenty days around the Jama Masjid which has an important role in the film!
Following this, the team will fly to LA for a 30 day schedule where important scenes and action sequences will be canned.
This big budget film is directed by AL Vijay and stars Chiyaan Vikram and Anushka Shetty in the lead roles. Jagapathi Babu will play the suave villain of the film. GV Prakash is composing the tunes.
It may be mentioned, UTV Motion Pictures, Vikram, Anushka and AL Vijay had earlier worked together for 'Deiva Thirumagal', a quality entertainer of 2011 which tasted critical and commercial success.
