UTV Motion Pictures will be producing India's first high-octane dance film and in 3D! Aptly titled 'AnyBody Can Dance' (ABCD), the film will be helmed by choreographer - director Rema D' Souza and has Prabhu Deva and Ganesh Acharya in pivotal roles.

'ABCD' also stars winners of hit dance show, Dance India Dance. Lauren Gottlieb, the global winner of the popular television show, "So You Think You Can Dance", has been cast as the lead heroine.

Announcing the project, Siddharth Roy Kapur, CEO of UTV Motion Pictures said, "Remo has proven to everyone that he is not only a sensational choreographer but also a director who knows the pulse of today's audience. He's the best choice to direct a film based on dance, and with Prabhu Deva, Ganesh Acharya and other leading stars from India's dance fraternity in the cast, ABCD promises to be a total paisa-vasool family entertainer."

Commented Remo D' Souza, "It is like a dream coming true for me. I had always nurtured the thought of making a film on my passion - dancing. ABCD is a culmination of multiple dreams actually for I get to make a dance film and get the one and only Prabhu Deva to dance and act in it!"

Prabhu Deva says, "I can feel so much energy on the sets of ABCD. I feel like a teenager and it's great to be dancing again. In fact, I feel more like a dancer working in the film than an actor."

ABCD will grace the screens by the end of 2012.
