S A C Chandrasekhar on Tuesday said no one has got the powers or rights to suspend him from the post of the president of Tamil Film Producers Council (TFPC). "I will soon sue them and seek legal remedy," he said.
In his statement, SAC said he is in a foreign country at present and would approach the court immediately after returning India. "I was elected as the president in a democratic manner after members voted me for the post," he said.
Stating that it was against the rules of the Council to conduct an emergency general body meeting without the consent of the president, Chandrasekhar said it was amounting to insult the members of the Council.
"If a particular office-bearer has to be sacked, he should be served a show case notice and his side of story should be heard," added SAC.
