Tamil cinema's top comedian Vadivelu (who is lying low after DMK, for which he campaigned all over Tamil Nadu, suffered a huge defeat in the Assembly elections last year) appeared in a Magistrate Court on Wednesday in connection with a poll code violation case.
A case was filed against him by the Election officials, after they found the popular actor violating the poll code during his campaign meeting at Dindigul. When the case came up for hearing Wednesday, Vadivelu appeared in the Dindigul Magistrate Court.
Talking to journalists while coming out of the Court, Vadivelu said, "I am planning a comeback soon and I have finalised an apt script for that. I myself will play the lead role in my upcoming film, which is set to hit the floors soon."
Buzz is that one of Vadivelu's close aides will wield the megaphone for the movie, which will be a laugh riot from scene one. "It will be on the lines of 'Imsai Arasan 23am Pulikesi'. But it is a contemporary subject and not a period one," sources say.
