Urvashi is back to do what she knows the best. Yes, she is donning the greasepaint after a break and this time for a Malayalam film titled 'Kunjiammakyu Anju Makkalannu'. "It is a strikingly different role from her earlier movies," sources in Mollywood say.
"She plays a cunning conwoman, who cheats a whole village by making the residents to believe that she has super powers. Also, along with her five children, she attempts various hi-tech robberies in this film, which is going to be a laugh riot," they add.
Produced by Rajan Nellimoodu and directed by Pappan Pazhatuvilla, the script, according to reports, is jointly written by debutants V R Surendran and Lal Pallichal. "The film is expected to be completed in one go, that is within a few months."
"Urvashi is interested to act in Tamil films too, provided she gets challenging roles," sources further say. The award winning actress is part of some of the blockbusters in Kollywood, including 'Mundhanai Mudichu', 'Paati Sollai Thattathey' and 'Michael Madhana Kamarajan'.
