LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Lisa Niemi is happy her late husband, Patrick Swayze, has been immortalized in wax at Madame Tussauds Hollywood, two years after his death at the age of 57.

This week, Madame Tussauds unveiled its likeness of the actor, featuring him in one of his most famous roles – as Johnny Castle in “Dirty Dancing” — and Lisa said they got his physique and looks just right.

“He had this kind of mischievous, but confident look… and things like his core [were] very, very strong and they worked on his arms more, so it’s very detailed,” Lisa told Access Hollywood on Tuesday. “There’s a lot of work that goes into this.”

Lisa was impressed with by the statue, but called seeing it, “bittersweet.”

“In a way, it’s really wonderful and exciting and everyone’s in such a good mood here, and it’s gonna be so fun to have this figure in the museum here, and at the same time it’s bittersweet,” she said. “I wish he were here, really here.”
