KS Ravi Kumar made Rajini wait

Soundarya Rajinikanth’s Hara (earlier titled Sultan – the Warrior) was to have recommenced in December. But this plan was postponed as director KS Ravi Kumar as held up with the Manmadhan Ambu release.

Hara was initially planned as a full-fledged animation movie with Soundarya directing and producing it. But later, there was a change in plan and it was decided to make a part of it as a feature film.

KS Ravi Kumar was approached with the offer to direct Rajini in the feature film portion and the director gladly accepted the offer with the condition that he will be able to do so only after Mamadhan Ambu’s release. With the release of Manmadhan Ambu, Hara’s shooting is expected to commence very soon.
