Preethika says that she is Rajni’s fan right from her childhood

Preethika is making her debut through the film Chikku Bukku in which Arya is doing the lead role. Preethika is the sister of the famous Bollywood actress Amirtha Rao. Preethika while speaking about her acting in Tamil film said,” I was in the modeling field when I was studying in college.

Director Manikandan seeing my photos signed me for Chikku Bukku. Arya was an open hearted person. He has lot of sense of humor. He helped me in the difficult scenes. Initially Vidhya Balan was approached for the role which I have done in Chikku Bukku.
But since she was busy I got the opportunity. Lots of people gathered to see Shreya when we were shooting in Karaikkudi. I was surprised to see this. My grandmother knows Tamil since she was born and brought up in Chennai.

So I also know Tamil. Rajni is my favourite actor. I have seen his films right from my childhood days. I have seen the Hindi film Chaalbaaz 60 times in which Rajnikanth and Sridevi were in the cast.”
