I'm over the moon: Shruti Haasan

She sure can't ask for anything better as life is truly over the moon for star kid Shruti Haasan. This actor-musician is all set to team up with rock icon David Kushner of Velvet Revolver for a global English album. Shruti will also sing and write the lyrics of the rock track alongside David, who is composing it. Interestingly, Shruti started writing English lyrics right from her school days in Chennai. Her role model is the legendary singer, songwriter and musician Bob Dylan.
"I'm over the moon, as now people will stop comparing me with dad," Shruti said to a leading daily. She is also excited about her three upcoming projects: Anagananga Oka Dheerudu in Telugu, with an English subtitle Once upon a Warrior, directed by Prakash (son of the legendary director K. Raghavendra Rao), Madhur Bhandarkar's Dil To Bachcha Hai Ji in Hindi and A.R. Murgadoss-directed 7am Arivu with Suriya in Tamil.
