Baby girl for Srikanth

Actor Srikanth has been blessed with a baby girl this morning. Srikanth who was shooting for '3 Idiots' remake in Ooty rushed back to Chennai to be by the side of his wife Vandana. Srikanth and Vandana were married in September 2007.

The year 2011 seems to be a lucky year for Srikanth as he has started his second innings in Kollywood with a bang. His current film with Shankar is one of the most talked about films in recent times. Srikanth is also expecting ‘3 Idiots’ remake give his deserved successful place in Kollywood.

He also has some non Tamil projects, particularly in Malayalam where he is fast gaining reputation.

Trisha is one person who always wants to live life to the fullest. Her strength of mind to achieve what she wants is well known in the industry. Recently Trisha fulfilled one of her long time desire of travelling in the Cockpit of an airplane along with the pilots.

Trisha has been trying for this for a past many years but met with no success. Whenever she boards an international flight Trisha has this habit of sending her profile to the pilots' cabin along with a request to allow her to travel in the cockpit for some time and enjoy seeing the pilots controlling the plane.

All the requests were declined because the pilots feared of some enquiry if the authorities come to know of that a passenger has travelled with them in the cockpit.

But Trisha’s never say die spirit has finally got her what she wanted. She managed to convince the pilots in her recent flight and had that experience of her life time. The airline was Singapore Airlines and the flight was from Chennai to Hong Kong.

Vishal’s third project in a row

Vishal already has two projects in his kitty – one with Boopathy Pandian (Pattathu Yaanai) and the other with Prabhu Deva. But this has not deterred the actor from agreeing to star in a film to be directed by Suraaj.

Well, Suraaj is known for making movies that have intense comedy, action and all other elements to make it a commercial success and this could be one of the reasons for Vishal agreeing to work with him.

Looks like the actor is all set to rock Kollywood this year, as he has Bala’s Avan Ivan lined-up for release and then the Prabhu Deva and Boopathy Pandian project, which is expected to proceed simultaneously.

News reaching us reveal that Rama Narayanan is quietly at work in Malaysia directing a film titled ‘Siva Poojaiyil Karadi’ ie. ‘A Karadi disrupting the celebration of one Mr. Shiva’.

Mirchi Shiva is playing the hero in this hilarious comedy film which is gearing for an early 2011 release. Meanwhile Shiva is coming out of the ‘Va Quarter Cutting’ shock debacle with his long due romantic film ‘Pathinaru’ releasing today.
