Shooting of Thupaaki to commence after the strike

Vijay is currently donning the lead role in the film titled Thuppaki directed by A R Murugadoss. This film which is being produced by Kalaipuli S Dhanu has the music of Harris Jayaraj. The shooting of this film was going on in a full-fledged manner in Mumbai.
The shooting of this film was slightly postponed because Vijay was busy in the promo work of Nanban. At the time when Nanban was released, problems between the Producers Council and FEFSI arose and because of this the shooting of the film Thuppaki was stalled.
A R Murugadoss has mentioned, "Vijay has acted very wonderfully in the film Nanban. The shooting of Thuppaki will commence once the strike is over. I am very happy to work with Vijay. I happened to see the film Mouna Guru directed by Shantha Kumar. It is wonderful film. A must see film."
