The 3rd edition of the prestigious Norway Tamil Film Festival (NTFF) will be held at Oslo City, the capital of Norway from April 25 to 29.
Unlike other International festivals that showcase the best films from around the world, NTFF, organised by Vaseeharan, a Norway-based Tamilian, is the only fest dedicated exclusively to Tamil cinema.
“Tamil cinema today is a benchmark for several other film industries in India and we are sure that this initiative will expand the reach of Tamil films across the globe —- even among non-Tamil speaking people. This festival is an attempt to bring Tamil films into the limelight,” said Vaseeharan.
Films apart from Ko and Mayakkam Enna, selected for screening this year at NTFF, announced at a recent media gathering, include
Azhagar Saamiyin Kudhirai, Vengayam, Aaranya Kaandam, Engeyum Eppodhum, Porali, Vaagai Sooda Vaa, Narthagi and Magan Kanakku.
