A business daily today quoted Hansraj Saxena's lawyer who expressed that his client (read: Hansraj Saxena) has decided to step down. Hansraj Saxena, who was the COO of Sun Pictures faced many criminal lawsuits of late and is now out on a two-month conditional bail. He has now officially resigned from Sun Pictures; he sent his resignation letter three days back to the organization. The daily quoted Saxena's lawyer, "My client felt there shouldn't be any embarrassment for the company due to the lawsuits he is facing. He spoke to Sun TV CMD Kalanithi Maran and has deiced to step down". Although Saxena was initially arrested for fraudulence, a case filed by a distributor, series of crimes were charged against him after the initial charges. Saxena is currently facing sixteen cases.
