Amala Paul was the kollywood actress in tamil film industry. She also acted in telugu films. Amala Paul was born on 22nd January,1985 at Ernakulam, Kerala.Later she was settled at Aluka in Kerala. After finishing Plus two,she planned to study engineering for further education. Amala Paul also involved in modelling. Due to modelling,later she finished degree in graduate.

One day Malayalam Director Lal Jose noted Amala Paul in spot while modelling. He asked her to act in his film "Neelathamara" in the year 2009. Unfortunately the film failed and she felt very sad. Next she expected the role in Tamil film industry. By her expectation,she got a chance in tamil film "Vigadakavi" which is still in post production. Next she accepted in film "Veerasekeran",a small budget film. This film also not success in the tamil field.

Later Director Samy asked her to act in his film "Sindhu Samaveli" in the year 2010. Director Samyy changed her name as "Anakha" . In Sindhu samaveli film,her role is an illicit relationship with her Father-in-law. This film disliked by many people in tamil industry because of the role character and story. Amala Paul felt sad but she didn't leave her confidence. In Public,she got scolded by women at Cinema hall in Chennnai.

By failure of Sindhu Samaveli film,Amala Paul listened to select the suitable story with good character. Again she change her own name "Amala Paul" due to bad luck name "Anakha". After she acted in her present name. Amala Paul's nnext release in romantic drama film "Mynaa" in the year 2010,directed by Prabhu Solomon. In this film she was very impressed by her role,noted by Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin. He purchased the film "Mynaa".

After releasing "Mynaa",Amala Paul's village role was impressed by everone in Kollywood film industry. Her scores in this film was noticed by every super hit actors like Rajinikanth,Kamalhassan.Vikram etc. Everyone congrats her in her immense talent in tamil film industry.
