Belated sci-fi sequel Tron: Legacy has topped the UK box office chart on its first weekend on release.

The follow-up to the 1982 cult favourite took £1.9m to oust The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of The Dawn Treader from the top spot after just one week.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 slipped one place to third, with The Tourist and Megamind in fourth and fifth place respectively.

New entries this week also included Burlesque in sixth, followed in seventh and eighth places by Animals United and Fred: The Movie.

Unstoppable and Due Date complete the top ten.
