'Thambikkottai' Hits Screens This December

Tamil flick 'Thambikkottai' has been in the pipeline for quite a long time now, but if media reports surrounding the Kollywood venture are to be believed, the film will hit theaters early next month.
Confirming this piece of news to the media was lead actor for the film Narain, who says that he is very excited about the film hitting the theaters because 'Thambikkottai' will be the actor's first Tamil release in two years.

'Thambikkottai' is an out and out commercial film says Narain. It is an action drama which is based in the Tamil Nadu village of the same name. According to reports in the media, it was an effort on the part of the producers of the film to showcase the lives that people residing in the Thambikkottai village lead. This village is located in the Thanjavur district of Tamil Nadu. If reports are to be believed, the producers have also incorporated some real-life events which have taken place in the Thambikkottai village in the film adaptation.

Starring Narain, Poonam Bajwa and Meena in lead roles, 'Thambikkottai' is one of the most awaited films from Kollywood this year. Fans of actor Narain are very happy that they will get to see their favorite star onscreen after a very long span of time. 'Thambikkottai' will also give Narain the scope to enact a different kind of role, considering that he has always been associated with very serious cinema in the past. 'Thambikkottai' releases this December.
