IT'S SHRUTI HAASAN FOR UDHAYANIDHI

Producer Udhayanidhi Stalin is soon to turn into an actor with a film to be directed by M Rajesh of Boss Engira Bhaskaran fame. There was a lot of guesswork doing rounds in Kollywood on who would bag the coveted heroine's role.

Several top heroines, including Trisha and Nayantara’s names featured in the list of probable lead ladies. But finally the role has been bagged by Shruti Haasan.

Shruti is currently starring alongside Suriya in 7aam Arivu, which is a production venture of Udhayanidhi. She also has a couple of films in Bollywood. The other cast and crew for the Udhayanidhi - starrer is yet to be finalized
