3 continuous remakes for Vijay

It looks like Vijay has no plans about giving up his remake concepts. Glimpse through his career graphs and most of his films have been remakes. In fact, his films which weren’t remakes failed at box office and it is much evident with his previous films ‘Vettaikaran’ and ‘Sura’.
The actor has now signed three films, which happens to the remake of a Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam each.
His ‘Kaavalan’ is a remake of Malayalam movie ‘Bodyguard’ and is directed by the same filmmaker Siddique. ‘Velayudham’ as known earlier is a remake of Tollywood film ‘AZAD’ that had Nagarjuna, late actress Soundarya and Shilpa Shetty in lead roles. ‘Velayudham’ has Genelia D’ Souza and Hansika Motwani in female lead roles. This remake version is directed by Raja and is produced by Aascar Ravichandran.

Obviously, his untitled film with Shankar is nothing but a remake of Hindi blockbuster ‘3 Idiots’ and it has already started making high waves of expectations in town.

Let’s hope Vijay strikes gold with hat-tricks as his fans are deliberately looking for such entertaining movies from his part.
