Karthi’s current project on hands is a film directed by Suraaj. The director had made films like Padaikkathavan in the past. The Karthi starrer that he has been working on for the past few months was progressing without a title.

The buzz now is that the film has been titled Alex Pandian. It is said that Karthi’s character in the film is called Alex Pandian and hence it has been use it for the title as well. The film has Anushka pairing up with Karthi for the first time. Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music for Alex Pandian.
