Chennai Intl. Film Festival in December

The 8th Chennai International Film Festival to satiate the hunger of film lovers is to be held in Chennai in December this year. Organised by the Indo Cine Appreciation Foundation (ICAF), the festival is held with the support of The South India Film Chamber of Commerce and Film Federation of India.

The 8th year's CIFF is going to be bigger than usual with top line celebrities of Chennao rooting for it. Suhasini Mani Ratnam, Revathi, Kushboo, Radhika Sarath Kumar, Rohini, Lizzy Priyadarshan, Poornima Bhagyaraj and Shobhana among the ladies, Sarath Kumar, Mohan, SV Shekar and Suresh among the gentlemen celebrities, with Award Winning Film Directors Vasanth, Gautham Menon, Cheran and Parthiban are the core group of supporters.

The festival will be attended by International celebrities and makers of the 120 films that will be screened at the festival. Venues this year would be Inox, Woodlands Multiplex and Kamala/Jayapradha, and the Chambers theatres.
