The few who have, have made an indelible mark in direction too. Like these: K V Anand turned into a hugely successful and bankable director with his Ayan. Now he’s busy directing Jiiva for his upcoming flick Ko Santosh Sivan is known for his directorial skills as much as for his cinematography. Urumi, the period drama, is his latest ventureIt’s possible that cinematographer Guhan never wanted to be a director. But Prakash Raj insisted after he was impressed with Guhan’s camerawork in Mozhi. Guhan’s just finished shooting for Inidhu Inidhu, the Tamil remake of the Telugu hit Happy Days Ravi Varman, who is known for his eye for detail, turns director with the quirkily titled Moscowin Cauvery
