KAMAL DISTRIBUTES ,new

Aug 17, 2010 Kamal Haasan celebrated the 64th Indian Independence Day at his office in Chennai. The actor donated sarees, sewing machines, tri-cycles, freezer box, and student napkin machine to those who deserved the assistance.
A press release states that the napkin machine was given by the Krishnagiri District fans and the freezer machine by the Karnataka fans. The Pondichery fans gave Rs 15,000 each for two persons to undergo heart surgery, the North madras fans gave Rs 10,000 to two students, Rasipuram fans provided books to 330 students, Tirunelveli fans offered Rs 10,000 to Ms. Jasmine for higher studies, Tiruvannamalai fans donated sewing machine, Pudukottai fans gave Rs 5,000 to deaf and dumb school for construction of a water tank and the East Kanchipuram fans provided sewing machines and sarees.
